Scanning & Digitization

Making a digital copy of a physical document, known as digitization, can be as simple as taking a photo with a smartphone. When precision is called for a flatbed scanner can produce much better results. Audiovisual digitization can be done with most media formats. The Makerspace stocks a DVD, VHS, cassette, and vinyl record player that can be used to play or digitize home media.

Please note that Makerspace staff reserve the right to refuse to digitize anything that is in violation of copyright or any other legal statute.
