About 3D Forming

3D forming is the process of creating a mold from a source object. In the case of the Makyu Formbox the mold is a thin piece of plastic made malleable by heat and then applied to the source object using vacuum suction. The resulting mold can then be filled with a variety of materials, from concrete to chocolate. The source object can be just about any solid item that will fit onto the machine and withstand its conditions.
