If you open a project and the canvas remains blank, it's possible the project was created with an older version of Design Space and isn't compatible with the newer version

Using Cricut Designs for the Glowforge
Unfortunately you cannot export cricut files directly to an image format however, you can "Print to PDF" and upload that to the Glowforge Web App. The only catch is that you cannot cut designs in a PDF format, only BMP or SVG.
