OneSearch is an easy convenient way to search for scholarly articles. OneSearch searches nearly half of our databases at one time. Databases included in OneSearch are marked with a red "1". Because OneSearch searches so many places at one time, you may find that your results are too broad. If this is the case, consider searching specifically in one of the databases listed below.

The JSTOR database contains the complete archives of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, many of which date from the 1800's. JSTOR/Library Subscription/ collection consists of journals in the liberal arts, business, and health. JSTOR
The VC/UHV Library's subscription to JSTOR content is limited to certain journals/publications. However, much of the content pre-1923 has recently become available for free to all users due to easing of copyright restrictions. Therefore you will see a combination of things we (the VC/UHV Library) have access to (designated by a green icon) and things we do not have access to (designated by a yellow icon).
