The UHV Library Fund for Diversity Resources helps support the purchase of works that represent diverse authors and experiences to support diversity, equity and social justice education.

This initiative was created and supported as a project through UHV's Diversity and Race Task Force, which was created by President Bob Glenn "to help guide the University and lead the community amid growing national concerns on the effects of individual and systemic racism and prejudice."

Books purchased through the UHV Library Fund for Diversity Resources will provide perspectives and insights on a range of different life experiences, which include but is not limited to:

  • race
  • national origin
  • LGBTQ+ status
  • gender
  • disability
  • and other identities

If you would like to donate to the fund, you can use our UHV Connect form. Note that UHV employee contributions will be matched by UHV.
